CV Joint

Postby TheMuGuy » Wed Mar 25, 2015 9:31 pm

Hey guys, recently got an 1995 Isuzu MU off my brother in law as my first car and I need to replace the passenger side CV, it is attached with 4 bolts in the top ball joint, I'm wondering if this is the right CV

Thank you :) :P

If you still need this then the picture shown is totally useless but the joint should be the correct one although advise is dont buy.
Reason one
The supplied joint will be a partial joint ie just the outer joint and shaft. You will have a devil of a job getting the old joint off the inner shaft
reason 2
I have yet to see an aftermarket cv joint that comes anywhere near oem quality. It will break
If someone can provide proof to the contrary it will be very useful
Better option is to buy a second hand joint from http://4x4isuzu.com/ They do export to Aus
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
