recovery hooks

someone to install recovery hooks in christchurch, or someone local who i can buy decent ones off - unless the stuff at super cheap auto are ok???

The SCA ones may of changed but a test done on them close on 10 years ago saw them snap instead of straighten suggesting they are cast not forged. They are marked 4500kg where as all other hooks are marked 10000lb. Repco BNT or Bridon/Cookes are a better bet at about the same price. If no one local answers hunt down the safety officer at your favorite 4wd club who will advise who can fit near you.
It will cost but not doing it right could kill someone.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
