WANTED! '89 Isuzu Trooper - Black Door Cladding/Molding/Trim

Postby RedBeast » Tue Apr 23, 2019 4:56 pm

Hi guys,

We have an '89 Isuzu Trooper of which we lost the black cladding on the driver side front panel.
Hope cladding is the correct term :? This is the black rubbery panel on the bottom side of the doors and front bit of the car.

If anyone has one or knows where we can find any or needs a photo to see what I'm on about, please give a shout :)

Thanks in advance!

that trim could be fun to get. Can you take it off the other doors etc easily? No trim might be the easy answer. Same model bighorn didnt have it

@geeves - Thanks for the response and idea. The previous owner used double sided tape and automotive adhesive, but not too difficult to remove and clean. The paintwork underneath is ugly on some spots though. We might consider replacing all of it with general rubber strips, but want to give it a go to see if we can get the original ones. She is in very good condition, so kinda proud :-)

@isuzurob - Thank you very much. That would be greatly appreciated! Ah, that would explain why it is so scarce :-)

Thank you for your time!

plastic and rubber stuck on trim on all cars can be a rust trap.
