1995 auto mu transfer case clearance

Postby tihoinz » Mon Jun 18, 2018 3:30 pm

Hi, this might be a dumb question but the transfer case sits about 190mm off the ground and wondering if thats normal for mus or not? Just wondering before i lift it only to get little clearance from that low spot
Cheers

That does sound low. Normal is around 220mm
Does the car look level front to back?
If you look from the front are the cv shafts horizontal or do they point upwards? (center lower?)
What tyre do you have?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
