Isuzu Fargo Base Camper 4x4

Postby BaseCamper » Thu Jun 22, 2023 7:29 am

Recently bought a 1992 Isuzu Base Camper. She's old, slow, noisy and body work leaves a lot to be desired, but totally rust free. I have completely stripped the interior, rebuilt the cabinetry and relined the walls. The entire inside has been insulated. New lights and a fridge installed.
Plan to drive 90 mile beach (in NZ) in December and who knows after that.

These are becoming very scarce now and I'm finding that out by trying to source parts and particularly engine components - even finding an oil filter is a challenge!

Anyone else with one of these?
