Manual swap on 94 3.1 mu

Hey guys just wondering if the backing plate between the auto and the manual are diffrent I seen to have about a 5mm gap between the bellhousing and the auto backing plate

the plate is really part of the gearbox. You might need to get the correct one
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
