4JB1 Engine bolt Pattern

Postby flatlander07 » Sun Mar 14, 2010 11:12 am

Does anybody have dimensional data on the 4JB1 engine bolt pattern, where the bell housing bolts up?? I've heard it's the same as the 223, and maybe the 3.1.

Geeves...

Ahhhh. That's interesting. My profile says I have the diesel Dakota, but still haven't got it going yet.

Over here out in California, an adapter plate shop was supposed to be making me a plate, but just can't get to it.

Mopar Racing gave me the Dodge bellhousing bolt hole and dowell pin hole locations, with an excellent drawing. I actually have a machine shop for my ptostumpgrinders.com.
If I had the Isuzu drawing of the "back" of the motor, I could do my own adapter.

It just hit a year and a half waiting for this busy swamped shop to do my little one off special. If you know where I could find the hole location drawing, even like an SAE flywheel housing drawing (that showed the engine side) would get me there.

Thanks so much for the resource.
