true but you cant feel that spring clip through the glove.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

If its anything like mine, the clips usually come out anyways and is somewhere in the boot!!!
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(

Close the doors next time :lol: the gloves just take practice i use the thinner "milking gloves" from RD1 (via the cowshed)

thanks dodgy i thought of that me an grease dont get on i get it everywere im doing two jobs at the moment im lifting the body up two inches and still knocking the blody shells out of the rear hangers at the front like you said there bonded in but good my nabour is getting shitty with all the banging i have had the bloody things so today is the day mmmmm air chiesel that will fix emm..i did have trouble getting oil seals for the front diff i would like to put new ones in but i think im in the shit with them no one knows were to get them and i have tried everywere does anything else do the job

I got front axle seals from holden about $18 ea. Part number is 8973735550
92 MU, 91 MU ute, 90 MU, 96 Wizard, 14 MUX,2019 Dmax LSU

They are a genuine only part, not too bad price wise though. you have to drop the whole axle out to change the seals though as there is a circlip behind the axle mount that holds the cv, bearings and seals in place. Best way is to drop the whole diff out and then you can do the work on your bench. While your in there do the bearings as well. They are a comon bearing that most engineering supply shops will have on the shop, only like $20 each. Yuo will probably never have to touch them again.
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(

oooh yep yep after 3 of us took all day saterday knocking the shells out the big ones had us stumped i cracked it so on sunday i folked out for a air chiesel bloody things 10 minutes had the bastards out but i think i have gone deaf lol so now the fun begins putting in the body raisers tonight i figure two inches on the body two inc. on the tyres and some new spring and torsion bars it should be good enough i hope lol

hey guys im back!! lol the suspension up grade has been done now for the hard one i have a spare holden 5 speed i have a spare mu 5 speed and transfer case ooh and a 3.8 vx holden motor .... what would be a good box and transfer case to put behind the v6 have you guys any sugestions and be nice dodgy lmao......

is that a comadoor 5 speed?
The common swap is comadoor v6 with comadoor auto then buy an adapter to a hilux tranfer case. Its very likely an adapter also exists fot the comadoor 5 speed but the 5 speed is very rare
