Hi all. Came across these on the net from auckland for $17.70 per meter :)

Mate gave me 20L diesel
Turned out to be 20L kerosine
Dam it went fast (For a while)

Mate of mine got some for his terrano a while ago, reckoned it was an a-hole to fit it. In the end he just Tek-screwed it to the body panels.

Basicaly the same as the bushranger flare. They are fun to fit but good once done and dont look too bad. I still like my Mitre10 garden edgeing which worked out about $1.50 a meter but it also looks like a cheap alternative. Lasted 4 years so far
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

I have the Bushranger type rubber Flares on my black Mu.
Held on with Tek screws. They're ok.

i did the garden edging way with about 12 tek screws each gaurd, they were so strong when i rolled my mu the flare didnt break off it punched the whole gaurd in, wish i got a pic it was funny as

Common on club trucks in Wellington and doesnt discolour as much as the garden edging. One catch though. Some conveyor belting uses a cotton canvas reinforcing which rots. You need the nylon reinforcing
