Hi Mr Revhead, normally I'd agree with you, but wreckers are paying crazy amounts for shagged 4x4 vehicles regardless of engine/trans condition. Apparently they do a front cut (Cut the vehicle in half leaving the engine/trans/loom intact) then they ship them to some 3rd world country and do a rebuild regardless of the existing condition. Apparently these rebuilt units sell for good money making the whole thing worthwhile for the wrecker.
The fact that it's low KMS is certainly a draw card to me.
Turnturn, I had considered removing the rubber dampner. No the body is not lifted, it's on stock wheels, it may well have never been in low range in NZ. Thanks for the heads up about shagged mounts.
