Removing Stereo

Hi
Ive got a 98 MU, I need to remove the CD player from the rack, is the cowling holding the ashtray and cig ligher screwed on or do you just prise it off with some plastic spaturlar?

I think the whole dash comes off as a cover with about a dozen screws
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

I dont mean the whole dash, just the bit that caps the front of the stereo / CD and has the ash tray, I dont see any screw holes, I just dont want to break it ...

A photo of the dash might help.
There isnt many gen3 Mus here although the later wizard might be the same
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
