2.5 inch exhaut will do the job but 3 inch will work slightly better and looks far more masculin. Dont know what exhausts are available over there but get a muffler that is as open as possible. Our Cobys you can look straight through.
Do an internet search for Flexi Flares
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
