Engine identification

Just bought a land rover 110. Was told its an isuzu engine, can anyone tell me what it is?

It looks like the Isuzu 3.9 non turbo engine 4bd1 I think they are named.
They came out with them for the army if I remember right.

Its not a 4bd1. I think it might be a c190

Look where the starter motor is there should be a number on the block if it is a c190 should be there.
If it is stamped c190 they are a 2lt diesel with a massive 46klw of power I just looked that up there was a few different C engines put into landies.

Im not planning on keeping it. I have a 4jb1t here. Does anyone know if the bellhousings are the same? Will save me having to make a new adapter

without a positive id of the engine we cant answer that. Is it mated to the landy gearbox?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Yea has been adapted to the land rover lt77. Ill scrape the gunge off the engine and try and get a positive id
