The turbocharger on my 4jg2 engine has broken twice, can please advice me of the possible cause?

blocked coolant or oil lines?

Btw,i lived in Marrickville from 1999-2001. I hope to go back to uor place for vacation in the near future.

No worries Jovy, my girlfriend works in marrickville so i spend quite a bit of time around there.

now back to this turbo, is it a genuine replacement or a chinese copy turbo?

what failed on it?

Well, the replacement was brandnew but lasted only fot about a month. The technical tell me what the cause why the turbine of the new turbo broke off from the spindle and fell into the exhaust causing clouds of white smoke.

Most likely cause of that in manufacturing fault. If the turbine had a crack this could happen. If the bearing was loose it could as well.
Did it make any noise or vibration before failing?
Was it a genuine ihi turbo?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
