Dam I should start selling the lift kit I made for my Mu. The only expencive part was the 4x1.25 pitched bolts. The rest only cost 2 doz cans.

their lift kits are pretty pricey though

How about lifting an Auto? Thinking about lifting mine, but the selectors look a bit tricky to overcome

lift the engine and gearbox too -solves that problem:D then you can throw away your belly plate as everything is above the chassis. By the way its actually a prick of a job ;)

How much should i expect to pay some tool at a 4x4 shop to do a 2" lift on my manual 92 mu?
As can get the lift kit locally for $170 or should i just wait until i do the suspension b4 installin the body lift??
Currently have 1.5" extended shackles but need the body lift for 33"s right???
As tyres need replacing in the next 6 months and want to get 33"s as currently only standard tyres.

i one and a half extension on the shackles only give 3/4 inch lift. Its very hard to give an estimate on this as there are several things that can make it take longer ie siezed bolts or worse bolts that break off in the captive nut
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Definitely need a 2" body lift and most likely a 2" suspension lift for 33", but it still might rub in the front arch when turning under compression,.....well mine does :(

Or you could just do some major guard cutting?
