Postby moomoo » Sun Jan 10, 2010 2:50 pm

Hi all,

Ive recently bought a 1989 Isuzu MU ute which id like to be able to do a few things to myself if i had a workshop manual of some sort. If anyone can point me in the right direction id appriciate it,

Hey mate, nice truck.

Theres some online manuals for the engine you can download from somewhere.
See if you can find them by searching this forum. Used to be hosted on gmail.

Otherwise, the best workshop manual I've found is the Haynes Vauxhaull Frontera (Haynes book number 3454).

It has a few petrol engines, a couple of diesels (2.8L included), axles, front suspension, coil & leaf spring rear suspension all in there...

Andy.

Yeah, Id like a Mu ute, means i wouldnt need to put a barrier behind me.... plus it would look gnarley as with massive tyres sas etc (think MUvits truck but a ute version)
Cheers,
Andrew

As long as you don't want to put anything in the back tray.

You will still need a barrier as well. if you look closely you can see the back window is actully part of the lid on the back and the ute bit is the same as any other MU with no back seat. The ragtops are the same as the utes but you kan put a back seat in them if its not already there.

From what I remember when I looked at one 15 years ago the lid only opens about a foot.

That about right moomoo??

Still would make a great lookin mini monster MU though!!!!
