Swapping fuel pump on 92 Isuzu Bighorn

My fuel pump was leaking badly as they do, so I bought really good S/H pump and installed it today. What a mission. Anyway it's done and the truck started after a few cranks of the starter. However she is well down on power which means (I guess) the timimg is retarded. Can anyone explain (as to an idiot) how to set up the pump timing?
