moving to Christchurch

Postby geeves » Mon Sep 24, 2018 8:36 am

Hi
Im moving to Christchurch at the beginning of November. I have an offer on a house in Rangiora. Can anyone pass judgement on the local 4wd clubs please? Which ones do what sort of trips? What sort of membership? Are they accepting of Isuzus?
thanks

So far one trip with Christchurch 4wd club and one private trip with members of both chch 4wd and clubisuzu. Getting used to driving in rivers

Was a member of the Canterbury Recreational 4wD club for maybe 10 years. Good club - good trips round south but not into hammering hell out of trucks as some clubs will.

Likely go back there when I get this 3.1 set up.

Ive still only done one trip with chch 4wd club and work has just hit me with another curve ball. Im only going to be home 5 weekends between now and the end of June and These might not actually be weekends except the public holidays. Making the club requirements to join is going to be fun. I fly to Invercargill tomorrow for 2 weeks home for a lengthened Easter than back for another week then 3 weeks in Arrowtown followed by 2 trips to the north island.
