I have seen a picture taken in Wellington of a Mu That was owned by a x member here. He had made the mistake of reversing up a river at speed to clean the underside and found a hole. The picture shows part of the roof about the size of a dinner plate. Thats all. I wasnt there but rumour has it that the passenger window was open but the passenger was second out.
The car survived with minimal work and was driven for a year or so more before being dismantled. Someone here might have its engine which was undamaged although glow plugs were removed and engine turned over to spit the water out before starting

"Sergeant Steve Savage, of Nelson police, said he was relieved it was not the same people who had needed to be rescued earlier in the week. "

On the telly tonight and lo and behold it looks like another bighorn.
Might have to ban Isuzu ownership from Nelson locals to preserve the isuzu species.
