Crwaled under the Mu today cause I dropped a socket and found this:

Ate they supposed to be there???

If so does anybody have a clue of size, types and length?

Thanks mate, appreciate the efort. Weird isn't it, its got the thread in them and all.

Anyways, I was hoping it would fix the leaks.... not lol.

ps like your site pig, especially like the 91 version, did you import it like that?
I would love to doa conversion like that!

The 91 is a factory Ute. You can get a soft top as well.
Mine have no threads in them.

Got it from a car yard in Sydney they imported it. There are a few around

Should be a pin in there to centre the bellhousing on the engine when you do the clutch.
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

In which case they are just for show? Maybe these holes are used on the auto

The bash plate bolts to the crossmember. I think rcolijn is worried about the spare bolt holes in the back of the block In older cars this would have held a plate that covered the lower half of the flywheel area to stop crap getting into the bellhousing dunno if that what they may be for in some 'zus

I bought one of these grey UTE covers to convert my black 91 MU to a UTE. I have all the bolts and rubber sealings as well. all I need now is a picture to see where the gas struts are attached to the tray. can anyone help me out ? thank you...

from Outback 4x4 in Ngaruawahia (now try to say that with an ossi dialect :mrgreen: ) and I payed NZ $245 for it but I forgot to have a look where the gas struts are mounted to in the MU - DOH ;)

cool, thank you, that helps a lot. I just saw I have to remove the handles which are at the same place (and if I am lucky even uses the same hole) the cover I bought has a huge handle outside to lift it up, is that standard ?
