hi
have had my 3.1 rebuilt and seems to be a heavy breather
how long would you expect this to last??
good to hear from those that have had a rebuild done

It will breath heavy for ever unless they used genuine parts, I've never seen a successful isuzu rebuild with aftermarket parts

How heavy what's the best thing to do get some.egts into it help it bed in the chrome liners

Heavy is heavy, will stand out if it's got alot, as I said very very common when using aftermarket parts, put a catch can on it or put breather hose in the chassis rail, just have to live with it which is annoying considering the money spent, upping the egt will just make it worse

Was it a full rebuild or just rings? If just rings were they the right ones? Factory had chrome bores and steel rings. Most aftermarket kits are steel bores and chrome rings. Bore and rings must be opposite materials
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
