RECENTLY I REBUILT A 4JH1TC IN A NKR77 2003 TRUCK. TAPPETS DONE NEW TURBO REPLACED FILTER HOUSING .TESTED INJECTORS PUT ANOTHER PUMP ON VP44. CHECKED AIR CLEANER AND AIR LINES REPLACED FUEL LINE TO TANK FROM PUMP DISCONETCTED EXHAUST DISCONECTED INTAKE CHECKED THROTTLE SENSOR FOR V AND OHM AND IT STAYS THE SAME . WILL FREE REV TO 3K SLUGGISH BUT REVS CLEAN BUT HAS NO POWER WHEN TRYING TO DRIVE IT .AND I MEAN GUTLESS BUT STANDIN STILL WILL REV ????? IM AT WITS END ANY HELP APRECIATED BOTH PUMPS WERE EXACT SAME SYMPTOMS. CLEANED SMALL FILTER IN PUMP INLET BOLT PRETTY MUCH HAPPENED OVER NIGHT

Any codes in the ecm?
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
