Timing Belt Kits

Postby pk965 » Wed Feb 16, 2011 12:47 pm

Hi guys, I had my timing belt warning light on now for about a 1000km and I have scoured through all the posts and FAQ and though I've learn t that I need a T844 gates belt for my 3.1L 94 Mu nowhere is there a mention of which tensioner and seals kit is appropriate. I have talked to some diesel fitters I know as well as the repco fellers and no one has been able to answer me. Is the standard tensioner and seals kit that comes with the T844 belt the right one? Wanting to be sure as they tell my I'm looking at about $90 for the Belt and $270 for the tensioner and seals.
Any insight on this would be appreciated as my MU is basically grounded until I get the belt fixed.
CHEERS!!
