Get your self a 2.5" straight through exhaust from the turbo back. That should help a bit

I hate say it BUT I "heard" placing a hyclone thingy before and after the turbo, spools it up 500 rpm earlier,.......?

ABOSULUTELY NO WAY! you get extra 500rpm earlier ?to get that extra 500 rpm you need the fuel,if you car is blowing plumps of black smoke then maybe,

I turned the fuel up with my 2.8 & it made a huge difference to the turbo lag (there is none/very little turbo lag now). It's made it much safer to drive at intersections now since i don't have to wait for the turbo to spool up while in the middle of the road with oncoming traffic. hehe.
bighorn = fun
If you see a bighorn, and the exhaust smells of BBQ or fish & chips, it's probably me

I might have to look at those pump modifications as with efi I can't just turn up the fuel screw
