After destroying 4 viscous fans and one radiator with the factory setup then being less than happy with my electric setup. (took a feed that was only live when alternator running then killed alternator) Im looking at other options
I can get a 15 inch all plastic flex fan at a good price. Will it do the job? Will it eat radiators?
Has anyone tried this?

aluminium rad and a big horn viscous clutch

Its a viscous clutch that ate my radiator but it lost 4 blades in the process.

you could try a aluminium fan like some hotrod v8's use, you would have to run it without the clutch and they are a bit noisier, ive got one sitting in the shed that i was going to use. its really rigid and i dont think it would pull forward in the water but then i got new aluminium radiator and electric fans out of a holden astra.
