thermostat housing wires

hey guys,
both wires on my thermostat housing have broken off, looking from the top the two wires are the two on the right sensor thingy, on my 4jb1-t could any on tell me what they are for. cheers Daryl

Most likely either you temp gauge or more likely the quick warmup system.

There is like 5 sencors in that general area but not all have been identified what they do.

the wires ontop of the housing are im guessing cold start up system, mine have been cut off and my temp gauge still works.
the sensor that controls the temp gauge is the single plug on the drives side of the housing that slides on to the sensor.
