easy (well by isuzu standards any way)
Remove battery Undo the bracket that holds the air con and place compressor on battery tray Dont undo its pipes. Loosen the top bolts on alternator. Remove belts. Through the rubber cover on the inner guard undo the oil and vacuum lines and wiring. Get underneath and undo the bottom bolts on alternator them remove the top bolts and remove the alternator. Refit in opposite order. Takes me about 2 hours but my auto sparky does it in an hour flat

do not remove pipes from air con compressor.
If you do the first thing that happens is the coolant freezes your hands to a crisp. (the pressure drop will cool it to about minus 20 Not good on bare skin) Then the coolant will start eating the ozone in the upper atmosphere so we can all get a sun tan in 20 seconds flat. But more importantly the whole air con system needs to be professionaly flushed with nitrogen then refilled. If it has the r34 gas this needs to be changed along with several fittings to r134 Cost as much as the car

Maybe andrewward0377 means the vacuum pump on the back of the alternator?
