0-100 times..What should I be getting?

Postby Roderunner » Wed Feb 29, 2012 8:40 pm

I have only owned my Jackaroo for a few months now, what sort of 0-100 km/h times should I be getting? This is for the 3.1 litre 4jg2 engine, but feel free to post the later model 3.1 diesel engine times too!

I had a play with the fuel mixture yesterday, screwed the base fuel adjustment screw in a quarter of a turn, and turned the boost compensator diaphram around half a turn, it goes heaps better than before, so I did a couple of runs to see what sort of 0 to 100 times I'm down to. The average of 2 runs got me 20 seconds, I'm disapointed that I didn't think of doing some timed runs before I adjusted the pump for comparison purposes! What sort of times do you guys/girls get?

defeats the purpose of getting a realistic 0-100 time. With the predicted winds it would be sideways all the way

Worse than that it's parked up at the mo wait for new turbo :o when it's back together I'll give it a couple of 0-100km runs see what I get . Like geeves said they Never going to be a rocket ship but be good to see ! I'm running 32inch tyres ,auto and 4.3 ratio diff so how quick are we all and what mods done to get to the speed of light
