A hotter and more complete burn. So better for the environment as well as an increase in performance. Quite alot of debate on whether it can damage your motor, possibly due to dodgy backyard fittings. Very expensive to set up under the legal channels, with certification etc. We spoke to a dynotune mate in Oz in the offroad racing scene, were advised the gains in the 2.8 Isuzus were not huge, they had done a couple (don't know about the 3.1) and to get a better bang for our buck with tuning, increasing boost, fuel etc.
