what turbo deal is best

To those of you who have replaced a turbo on your 3.1 bighorns ,what is the best way to buy .I have seen them on trade me for around $700 and have seen modified ones on this forum for about $1200

talk to Jarred at turbo care http://www.turbocare.co.nz he played around with his own and come up with a tried and true set up that works but can do one to suit your needs or standard one

I have the dreaded whistle as well. I wonder about a lot of the trademe turbos. Theres on on there at the moment for under 400 but I think the description says it all (ie run away) Jarrod has done a lot of turbos for people here and done a lot of modification. I believe you should at least try his offer first even if you find a better deal. I would stay away from turbos with brands you never heard of and cant google
