Hey, I just recently went through all of the oil filter housing issues you are facing.
Heres what I did- with Pics!

Images are in the wrong order but Im doing this on my phone so you get the point.

Bighorn intercooler
Tweaked fuel pump
Boost tap (15psi)
Egt monitor installed
Rear: 2" lifted leaf springs
Front: Wound torsion bars, dropped front diff, flipped ball joints, cut upper bump stop

images are in a funny order but all there - not sure how to order them correctly, seems like I need to upload the last image first to get the correct order....
