NEW 2.5 EXHAUST FOR MY 2.5

Postby wbski007 » Mon Oct 19, 2009 4:28 am

THIS IS WHAT I DID YESTERDAY, PUT 2.5 EXAUST RITE FROM TURBO ON BACK, NO MUFFLER, STRAIT THRU, DECIDED TO USE AN OLD SIDE PIPE I HAD LAYING AROUND FOR ABOUT 20 YEARS. IT MADE THE WHOLE JOB ALOT EASIER AND HOPEFULLY ITS GOING TO STOP THE EXHAUST FROM GETTING ALL OVER THE FRONT OF MY CAMPER AS IT DID WHEN IT EXITED THE REAR. I AM REALLY SUPRISED IT DOSN'T MAKE ALOT MORE NOISE THAN IT DOES, YOU CAN HARDLY NOTICE THE DIFFERANCE, SO I'M VERY HAPPY
I KKOW ITS NOT FOR YOU ROCK CRAWLERS BUT IT WORKS FOR ME :D
CHEERS,WAYNE

I like it.. Rat racer styles... you should drop a big block v8 in there with a supercharger out the hood and it will really look the part!
Cheers,
Andrew

Lake pipes. Mmmmm
Last time I saw some of them they were on a skoda (Skoda is rear engine so they didnt do anything)
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Thanks fella's, I was hoping someone else would like the old stile besides me, I defenitly march to a different tune than most people  ,and I had my share of small and big block Chevys in my day, but I really started off with flat head Fords, I had a couple of those babys that ran pretty darn good for what they were. :D :D :D OH and I haven't grown up either, hope I never do  Cheers, Wayne
