Loosen the nut and on the end of the threaded part there's a place to put a flat head screw driver, turn in for more fuel out for less than hold and tighten lock nut

The green cap is not the fuel adjuster but it is close to that spot. There is a cap just behind the green cap under it is a screw & locknut. The red circle is the adjuster with the cap removed
Hope this helps

Please let me confirm.....on this particular fuel pump the nut underneath the Green cap circled is NOT the fuel adjustement screw...it is infact some kind of sensor DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ADJUST IT.. How do i know because i tried and broke it...all that is inside is a insulated wire...So where is the adjustment screw??? i have no idea..If anyone does please let us know...I have however made some ajustment to the throttle cable and the kickdown cable for the auto....and it made a big difference...ohh and the broken sensor didnt cause it to stuff up...

Heres another question. In that photo there is a big grey plug/scocket attached to a pot. That correct?? Now on my replacement fuel pump that stuff is not there. That pic is of my actual fuel pump BTW. What happens now that suff not plugd in?? Do I need to take it all off the old pump and put it on the replacement?

Cheers

I just had a look at mine. So its the elongated metal nipple thing under the green rubber cap??

If so, mine looked like it was never meant to come off? Any tips on how to remove it?

No the green rubber cap is a sensor of some description. The screw you are looking for is, looking at the fuel pump from the passenger side of the car, just behind that green covered one. If it hasn't been adjusted, it will have a tin cap over it.

The easiest way to see it is to use a small mirror and a torch. That will give you a better idea of what you are dealing with.
Once you get that tin cap off, (which is a total **** to remove) adjusting the screw is easy.

To remove it, I sharpened a steel rod, and used it to cut down one side of the cap, hen ripped it off with pliers.
You could probably use a long screwdriver if you had one.

That pot is a throttle position sensor and it relays info back for emissions control. If you dont have the EGR connected anymore then I doubt the new pump will matter not having the sensor.
