Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them

Its a quirk of this forums software. If you take pictures with a camera which is aware of which way up it is ie cellphone camera the image has metadata which tels it which way it should be. Thats all well and good and means that all image viewers and even regular browsers show the picture the right way up. However this forum software doesnt read the metadata so as the picture was taken with the camera on its side it shows that way unless you click on the picture so it displays only the picture.
There are a few other nasty tricks to watch out for in cell phone pics. If my guess is right I will explain them in a pm. Its an answer you might not want on the forum.

At first I thought it was a john deer motor with all that green paint on it.
So how long before you install it in the truck.

Yes it is john deere green, will be fitting it in 2 weeks have a 3 day 4x4 trip this weekend coming so last outing for the 2.8, will be a Smokey beast with a bit of luck

Well I got time today and new engines in truck has abit of a ruff idle with custom injector pump but it pulls very well and is quite

Is the bolt on the top of the boost compensator so you can adjust it on the fly?

Yeah instead of taking the top off the pump and twisting the pintle in the pump

Well after doing cv boots and brakes this morning, took it for a road tune 28psi of boost and 1 1/2 turns on the fuel screw it goes like it should and nice black smoke everywhere :D

whats the 4jh1 engine from did it bolt straight in and what pump did you use
will I be able to use my manual 4jg2 pump and injectors manifolds and turbo set up ??
whats the advantages of using this engine ??

Got the engine out of a 06 4x4 rodeo, injector pump is custom built but was out of a 4jb1-t, you could say it bolts straight in with alot of work, no real advantage as such I just wanted to be different and see what 1 could handle, running a water intercooler, external oil cooler and water meth aswell now

my 4jg2 has mud its self looking at options rebuild or replacement or do i go 2.8??
