Opel Frontera fit with Isuzu 4JB1

Postby mattsabun » Thu Aug 30, 2018 5:58 pm

Hi and good day to all..

I got Opel Frontera fit with Isuzu 4jb1-t engine. I got this engine in not complete part. Wires are cut everywhere. I got start and run this car, but I feel maybe got something wrong in fuel pump wiring. While testing in idle, I disconnect CSD solenoid, and I see fuel is suck in at return pipeline (I use transparent hose for testing). This cause air suck in fuel pump, and make engine lost power. Few question that curious me:

1. CSD wire connect all the time (IG on) or just few second after engine start?
2. Do I need additional fuel pump?
3. Where is signal for rpm? It is at back of fuel pump? My thought is at alternator.
4. My thought also those CSD, EGR, glow plug, rpm, engine temp are control by ecu/control unit. Maybe?

Thanks in advance.
