4jh1 swap.

Postby zacco » Wed Mar 04, 2020 8:03 am

Have a 91 v6 jackaroo that I was planning on swapping a 4jh1 into. A quick look under the dash in the Jack scared 99 colours of crap outta me. No way I can sort that wiring out. So I was thinking of transplanting my complete dual cab tf onto the Jack chassis. Rodeo unusable due to massive cracking in chassis around diff and shock mounts at the front. Thoughts?
Cheers, zacco

Put a 4JB1T in it or do a mechanical pump conversion on the 4JH1, less wiring to worry about then. Still going to be a bit of stuffing around though

Ok, all body mounts for the dual cab line up with jackaroo chassis. Swap complete scab over , no wiring probs. Backhoe swapping cabs tomorrow.
Cheers, Zacko.
