Very interested.

I was thinking I might do a write up on what can be removed as well to go with the plates for anyone that isnt sure. I have removed just about everything from my MU and just rediverted the hoses that are needed.

Would that be any help as well???

I was just going to keep pulling stuff off till the truck stopped then put stuff back on till it worked again, is that not the best way? ;)

I would say that way would sort of work Captcol. I wouldn't advise it though he he he. I will do a write up with photos to go with the plates. When its done I give it to the masters here and they kan put it in one of the FAQ sections as well. I get to work on that this weekend.

WayneB wrote:Was in the old speed shop yesterday getting a braded stainless steal oil pressure line for my 2.5 and just happened to see a fuel pump block off plate for a big block Chevy engine,454,396, ect. and thought the spacing of the two bolt holes in it looked the same as the ones on the two EGR ports on the intake of my 2.5, so I took one outside and tryed it and low and behold it fits perfect, cost $5.99 each, 1/4 in steel and their chrome to boot, now you know you can buy a pair of them to block off those EGR ports and its going to look great.HOORAY, what a deal. oh and by the way its me wbski007, been having trouble with my username and password.

Hello here is the ebay item number for these plates 170517726115 copy number and paste in ebay search. Mine arrived the next day and have fitted these. You will need to fit bolts M8 x16 instead of the suppied bolts. Took exhaust end to exhaust shop and cut off end and welded a washer on end and filled in hole with weld. All done without any problems. The only thing i would suggested is flooding the exhaust bolts with wd40 the night before Cheers
