I had the intake manifold off recently to replace the gasket that was leaking (another post somewhere) so I sandblasted it while it was off. It's the cleanest part of my Mu.

steel for the exhaust manifold from 2mm to 10mm does really matter and alluminium on the intake manifold around the same thickness 3mm to 10mm
Yeah tar thanks that'll be great..!

Re the CNC machined plates That surface will be flat and as there is A low spot not A high spot at the junction of the engraving meets top face there shouldn't be A problem.
Looks to me that there is A big enough land there anyway.

I am keen for a set of the cnc egr plates! let me know costs. I also want to be able to fit a egt probe, I think this is supposed to go on the plate that is in the first of Darko's images, is this right? What needs to be done to fit one of these? Do the probes and gauges come seperately? Can I fit the plate with a bolt to fill the hole till I can find a probe and gauge?

If you have 10mm thick plate for the 3 block off plates, what size bolts do you need? or do you just cut the originals short?

I used the same bolts for the exhaust, and for the intake mainfold used new bolts M8 x 20mm from repco. Cheers

For the intake on the 3.1 was the thread coming out (so on the EGR there was just nuts holdin it on) and did you just uncrew it?
It seems to be that the 2.8 has thread coming out?

Has any one also got a template for the overboost valve?
