I hope thats not 10 inch rims with the 235 tyres from your other post. They will pop off the bead at full pressure if you look at them sideways.
Tubes help heaps Ive popped a bead at 20psi but as I had tubes it just sat off the bead till I had time to put the compressor on it. (Naughty ruts). Therory is that you can run under 20 with tubes but there is a catch. You can spin the tyre on the rim at low pressures which will tear off the valve stem Also crud gets between the tube and tyre causing more punctures. Ive also seen beadlocks cut a tube. Best answer is internal beadlocks. Unlike proper beadlocks they dont need cert and only require an extra hole in the rim. The catch is they cost 1200
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
