think they have saged, they seem to have got harder

If they have sagged then why not just adjust the ride height back to where you want it?
Has it just sagged so much that it is hitting the rubber bump stops and giving the impression of a firmer ride?
I would think that it would be unusual for a spring to get firmer with age.

How are your shock absorbers?

Are you comparing your Mu's ride to that of a later model (after 93-94ish)? The earlier Mu's have a firmer ride than later ones. Their torsion bars are shorter and bigger diameter giving a higher spring rate.

Mine had sagged on my Rodeo to the point wehre they would hit the bumpstops, wound them up and they are all good, havent sagged again yet and this was at least 6 months ago

my shocks are fine I have the Rancho 5000, i have wound up the bars a bit still same thing

how much room do you have between your upper control arm bumpstop and the bracket where the bumpstop hits?
