Problem

Postby Powertruck666 » Mon Aug 10, 2009 5:54 pm

Hey guys just wondering if anyone has come across this problem before. I've just fitted a set of Ranch shocks to the front of my truck i've noticed that the steering rods are touching the shock bodies just slightly on both sides. They were doing this on my old shocks Monroe ones to. I've checked all the steering rods for straightness and they are all fine. I'm not sure if its just my truck or do all 3.1 MU's have this problem?

Cheers

I Had calmini shock in, and mine never touched under any circumstance, however that did touch the sway bar disconnects i made.
Are the a diferent diameter to the originals?
Three things a Co-pilot should say to a Captain:
1. Great landing
2. First round is on me
3. I'll take the ugly one.

Ive checked the overall diameter of the shocks and overall they are 5mm bigger i wouldnt have thought that would be enough to touch.
