landcruiser mark 2 ? We know the cruiser by the FJ and BJ model names. If its the FJ70 they should work but are they coil or leaf. The first of the Prados were much the same shape and coil.
Should work well but There are not many coil Troopers or Mus around. A couple of people have done this with Nissan Patrol axles. Yarno on this forum is in the process but he is doing a complete chassis swap, Muvitmadness on the previous forum (proboards/clubisuzu ) did a very nice conversion to a Mu with everything state of the art plus a bit. That Mu achieved 1200 on an articulation ramp (standard Mu gives about 400) and was running 38 inch tyres.
Remember to do a good report on progress with lots of photos
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
