Postby nut161 » Tue Feb 04, 2014 6:28 pm

Is anyone running the raised rear efs leaf springs for the rodo?
They come in a 150kg and a 300kg version and im unsure which to go for?

Cheers for any help,

hey mate,

I've ran in my last two rodeos EFS leaf springs, both the 150kg variant.

I think they are great, mind you I haven't had anything different other than factory springs but I think they are good. The 150kg load is perfect for me as I don't carry anything in the back of ute unless we go camping and even then they don't sag. My only gripe about them is both sides are the same, there isn't a spring made for the drivers side to accommodate my fat arse and a full tank of diesel (being tf model the fuel is on the drivers side, along with the battery) but even then no sag.

Just joined the club. Hopefully my input isnt too late. I have added the EFS 2" suspension lift to my 98 rodeo ute. Put heavier duty T-bars up front, efs shockers and efs leaf springs (150kg). Originally they were abit of a shock when i first put them on but they have either softened abit or I have just gotten used to it. I went with the 150kg as I have added steel side steps and rear bar and also have a long range fuel tank which all add to the weight abit. It certainly seems to carry weight much better than before. If you have loads of extras and a canopy of heavy steel tray might be worth going with the 300kg otherwise 150kg if heaps
