NICE, I got my sliders to wrap around the chassis rails, I assume yours will bolt into the original side step bolt hole?

Are you going to place a checker plate cover or leave it as it is ?

The box section is 5mm thick, 45x45 i think, the outer section is just 50mm DIA tube with a 2mm wall., the weakest point is from the mounts to the sliders, be fine as a slider but not a a jacking point. (it 30x15x2mm tube)

Yeah they use the side step bolt holes.Once i get a body lift on there I will probly go for a sandwich plate (like with my hook).
Still looking into checker plate, trying to find some cheap :D

The side step holes are strong enough, i had mine on there for a start, they could handle it as a jacking piont but you need to have a 10 -15mm gap as the chassis itself flex's that much.
Oh how i miss my mu, the lux is just not the same :(

Demonic,
if you have time can you do write up on how you made it , kind of what you already have done with any more pics and materials and email it all me. I will add to the DIY section,.....you will get full acknowledgment as the author in the DIY.
Only do it if you have the time mate, PM me and I'll give you my email (if its not already linked somehow)

Cheers

Looking good mate.

Mine are not quite as fancy but are allot more bigger and heavier, they are the same style but in 2 rows of boxed steel.
They started off as sliders for a Landcruiser Ute
