You can do a body chop on a monoque chassis, you just have to brace it befor you cut it and when you build the role cage it just has to have more thought put into intergrating it into the body.

With the body cut he has done and if he has moved it around with no bracing it looks like it is been cut ok, plus the main strength will be in the B-pillar.

On the engine conversion, isnt the front diff itergrated into the engine sump?

dam i need to remeber how to post pics, that looks like my mates hes building, except he took the whole roor and all windows off and building a ful cage for it, he building it for the trials with a midmounted sr20 and hilux diff front and rear on coils

Havint had time to do much on the old girl so this is how much I have done.
Roll cage almost finished, electric push fan for radiator, rear bumper and 10,000 pound tow hooks front & rear.
