Diesel tank lift

Postby lewis » Tue Nov 30, 2010 3:05 pm

Hey guys,

Was looking at doing this today and the drivers side of the tank seems easy - just get longer bolts and put some box steel in to space it up.
However on the passenger side the tank is bolted to the underside of the mount so this cant be done.
How have you done it? Im guessing it requires cutting the mount off and welding it back on/ back together with the tank and spacer on top of it which makes it more work than i had hoped for. Dosent look like you could unbolt the tank and wrangle it so that the passenger side is above the mount either.

Thanks
