China does make 4jb1ts under licence to Isuzu. Google "landwind" for more details but dont watch the crash test
Industrial engines are camed a little different and rated at continuous power not peak like an automotive engine is. At the industrial rating the engine can run 24/7 We all know how long our engines would last at full noise before something bad happens.
As far as I know they are interchangeable but no more info. It wont bolt up to your trans as the bell housings are different.
Best bet is to import a second hand engine/trans. wbski007 is in a better position to advise on this and also another engine option that might be easier
Sanding your knuckles before starting work can help. That way you cant skin them
