Ok I suppose it is time to start showing you guys what I'm up to with my MU.
Its been off the road now for 2.5 years, and plans have changed over and over. But now I think I have one that will work, I hope anyway.
The plan - 1 MU body, 1 shorty Patrol chassis, transfer and diffs, and 1 Soarer V8 and auto.
Method - Mix in mixing bowl and cook for 2 years!!! (hopefully less than that cause I want to be driving it then)
Anyway it's going to be a slow build, and I'm going to make sure I have it all engineered this time. So progress will be slow but I'll try to keep pics updated.

A few rust bit needed fixing on the old trol, and new Lincoln Mig
not sure about the 38's now might go smaller.

Don't worry I haven't forgotten about ya's, just haven't done much as I have been away and had a couple of big weekends.
Here's most of it, I have been working on the rear 4 mounts and they are made and half welded in as I'll have to take the body off to fully weld.

I have shortened the chassis at the front by about 6". i need to cut the old mounts off in front of the rear wheel to be able to put the new ones in, but the body has to come off to get the grinder in... wish I had a plasma cutter....
