Find out how many wires are in the rubber boot from the body to the door. Then hunt down a sturdy plug and socket that will take all the wires and install that so as it won't interfere with the door working. Just unplug it when you want to take doors off.

door removal is common for rock crawling where you need to be able to see the wheels at times. Otherwise its dangerous and quite messy.
Have a look at the Amigo forum. A lot of rock crawlers there

Personally like having a bit of panel between me and the outside world I would also replace the pin in the hinges with a high tensile bolt Then just undo to remove and drop back in to refit without having to realign the whole hinge each time

Its done for a particular type of 4wding where the advantage of being able to see far outways the risks. There is very little rock crawling in NZ so we dont understand its finer points

Nothing like watching a crawler creep up a vertical rock wall and make it. dam thats scary to watch. I would so love to have a go at some of that stuff.

Should be a plug inside pillar might be easier to take trim off in foot well to get at
