Hey mate. Have a very close look at your block before you take to it with anything!!!!!!! All The ones I have seen so far have helicoils in them. I get the feeling this may be a standard procedure but i may be wrong. I have had to replace about 8 on 3 motors so far. and I have 2 more motors to do soon. I know one has them.... Isuzurob will probably know more.

Lookin good though! you not far away now mate! Great work.

:D :D :D :D :D

Thanks for the heads up mate. Yea a few of the holes definitely have helicoils in them and some are just threaded but heavily rooted, so ill probably helicoil them anyway.. There seems to be two different size or thread bolts for the trans unless that is just due to damage, can anyone confirm thread and size so I can sus out new helicoils?

Cheers mate

made the painful mistake of removing the diff centre and bearings and THEN realising the diff lock can be installed with the diff completely assembled! so now ill have to fit the diff lock and then re adjust the bearing load and crown wheel positioning!! bit devo'd about that.

finally picked up me rebuilt injectors today, a mere 715$ later i might add :( and believe me, thats cheap! it started at 900 and i worked em down.

installed them and hooked up the fuel pipes too but forgot to take picks so ill put them up soon... engine is now 99% complete, just a few last hoses, fit and clamp up intercooler and turbo pipes, then shes good to go :)
